But it goes without saying that this is not how i want to record.Īm i missing a setting in Cakewalk and/or SD3? Or even in my Alesis DM10 module? In the DM10 module i have all the 'receive midi' settings off, so it should trigger again if it receives data. But when i playback that seemingly empty recording i hear what i want to hear. I've tried turning off midi echo in the 'preferences' menu, but then when i play the kit i see or hear no midi notes being recorded in Cakewalk. When i record and playback the recording, i hear an echo it makes every hit sound like a flam, really annoying. If i play the kit without recording, everything sounds fine. When i load SD3 in Cakewalk as a VST Synth/Plugin, something weird happens. ![]() When i play SD3 on it's own, it triggers fine and plays great. I have a weird issue with Cakewalk and SD3.
